Michael Jordan’s dressy Air Jordan Mule sneaker loafer is still going strong into the new year.
The latest look to surface for the on-trend Air Jordan Mule is an oxblood-like Dark Team Red/Burgundy Crush/Metallic Silver. Like black and Luminous Green styles that preceded it, the upcoming colorway is offered in a glossy patent leather finish. The loafer’s soft foam platform sole is colored in a near-matching burgundy shade, while the midfoot strap is adorned with a metallic Air Jordan-branded badge.
Thus far, the Air Jordan Mule has been offered in everything from tonal patent and suede colors to snakeskin and pony hair-covered variations. The model has proved popular, with several styles selling out and five-star reviews on Nike’s e-commerce store.
Aside from the Air Jordan Mule, Nike, Inc. has gotten in on the sneaker loafer trend with its Air Max Phenomena model. Introduced through a collaboration with the Serena Williams Design Crew (SWDC), the Air Max-cushioned sneaker loafer hybrid has since been released in several styles including a Burgundy Crush/Burgundy Ash/Black/Metallic Silver similar to this upcoming Air Jordan Mule.

While the sneaker loafer trend has subsided somewhat as winter approaches, athletic and dressy shoe hybrids are still very much having a moment. The concepts are getting more adventurous, too, with brands like Asics experimenting with technical leather sneakers and New Balance readying moccasin-like mash-ups.
In related Air Jordan news, one of the brand’s most anticipated releases of the year, the Air Jordan 4 Retro Black Cat, was released Friday.
As for the Air Jordan Mule sneaker loafer pictured here, it’s expected to be released from nike.com and select Jordan Brand retailers during spring 2026. Priced at $145, the shoe will come exclusively in women’s sizing with a style code of HJ4292-600.
