Welcome to the NFL’s five day Thanksgiving weekend! I hope you are ready for some football because that’s all that will be available on every single television in the country. You could talk to your family, but thankfully the NFL has taken care of that awkward possibility. Oh, and below you can check out my wide receiver rankings.
Troy Franklin, Broncos vs. Commanders
Franklin has asserted himself as the top target in Denver, as he hasn’t had fewer targets than Courtland Sutton since Week 5 and leads in targets overall. This week he gets a strong matchup against the Commanders, who have given up the third-most fantasy points to wide receivers this season.
Higgins suffered a concussion in Week 12 and has already been ruled out due to the short turnaround when they play the Ravens on Thursday night. Andrei Iosivas and Mike Gesicki should see some extra work, while Ja’Marr Chase returns from his one-game suspension. Oh, and Joe Burrow is back behind center.
Terry McLaurin, Commanders
McLaurin has a shot at returning this week from his quad injury, but that remains an open question. If he can, it won’t be the best spot for fantasy, as the Commanders face the Broncos solid defense and Jayden Daniels is likely out again.
London suffered a sprained PCL in Week 11 against the Panthers. He missed last week and there’s a chance he could miss more time. I wouldn’t expect him back this week against the Jets, but he has not been ruled out as of yet.
Brian Thomas Jr., Jaguars
Thomas Jr. has missed the last three games due to a high ankle sprain, but has been getting limited work in. He reportedly has a good chance to suit up this week against the Titans.
Marvin Harrison Jr., Cardinals
Harrison underwent appendicitis surgery ahead of Week 11 and has missed the following two games. There haven’t been any updates on his health, so we’ll probably need to wait for Wednesday’s practice to find out more. Michael Wilson has taken over in Harrison’s place and played well.
