Lululemon Unveils Uniforms for Canadian Olympic, Paralympic Teams

Lululemon is once again showing its pride in its home country by outfitting Team Canada for the upcoming Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. This is the third time the Vancouver-based brand has dressed its country’s team as the Official Outfitter of Team Canada.

Lululemon unveiled the athlete kits on Tuesday. There will be different uniforms for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, medal ceremonies, media appearances, travel days as well as off-duty time in the athletes’ village.

“In collaboration with Canada’s top athletes, we’ve applied insights and learnings from our last two Games to create a kit with deeper focus on innovation and inclusion, while delivering both function and style,” said Calvin McDonald, chief executive officer of Lululemon. “As a country that thrives in the cold, the Winter Games are particularly special to Canadians, and all of us at Lululemon are incredibly proud to support Team Canada on the world’s largest sporting stage with product designed for athletes, and with athletes.”

The Lululemon design team worked with a range of Canadian athletes over the past two years to understand their unique needs. That resulted in kits that feature layering and insulation for thermoregulation in fabrics including merino wool, and Translucent Glyde, a translucent mesh layer that is water-repellent.

Feedback from the Paralympians resulted in kits with a range of adaptive and inclusive designs in footwear and seated-fit styles that feature abrasion-resistant fabric as well as braille lettering and magnetic zippers.

For both the Olympians and Paralympians, the kits offer modern silhouettes and graphics that speak to the country’s landscape and environment. Among them are a topographic map print, large maple leaf details and colors that range from red and green to blue.

Key pieces include a nylon taffeta insulated jacket; an alpaca-blend jacquard sweater; an insulated relaxed-fit pant; a Translu Wunder Puff jacket inspired by the brand’s Wunder Puff jacket; a Shine Wunder Puff large-hood jacket; a wool-blend trapper hat; a Future Legacy Warm Revelation beanie; a Future Legacy scarf, and a Future Legacy Easy Access bag.

Athletes, coaches and support staff will wear the Team Canada apparel throughout the Games.

“Canadian athletes are the best in the world, and it’s only fitting that they have the best-looking and most innovative team kit at the Games,” said David Shoemaker, CEO and secretary general of the Canadian Olympic Committee.

“It has been incredible to see the athlete kit continue to evolve thanks to Lululemon’s commitment to working directly with athletes through every step of the process to understand their needs,” said Karen O’Neill, CEO of the Canadian Paralympic Committee. “This has resulted in our most inclusive and adaptive kit yet, that showcases how we all win when accessibility is at the forefront. The Canadian Paralympic Team will both look amazing and feel comfortable while proudly representing the nation at the Paralympic Winter Games in March.”

As part of its deal with the Olympic and Paralympic committees, Lululemon selected a range of athletes who will become its ambassadors. They include ice hockey player Sidney Crosby; Cynthia Appiah (Bobsled), William Dandjinou (Short Track Speed Skating), Piper Gilles (Figure Skating), Emma Maltais (Ice Hockey), Paul Poirier (Figure Skating), Cassie Sharpe (Freestyle Skiing), Tyler Turner (Para Snowboard) and Natalie Wilkie (Para Nordic Skiing).
