Zara Tindall Pairs Teal Tailoring With Fairfax & Favor Fitzrovia Boots

Zara Tindall put Fairfax & Favor’s Fitzrovia boot to work on Saturday, anchoring her day two look at Cheltenham’s November Meeting with the brand’s tall, black suede silhouette. The Olympian and longtime racegoer arrived in a teal tailored coat and leather A-line skirt, using the over-the-knee pair to set the line beneath structured layers.

The Fitzrovia boot is one of Fairfax & Favor’s dressier profiles: black suede with a pointed toe, a wrapped 9cm block heel and a clean shaft that rises just above the knee. A leather panel runs up the outer leg, while a full back zip ends in the label’s interchangeable tassel. An inner ankle zip keeps the fit close, and the suede finish stays consistent across the upper. On Tindall, the boot sat smoothly under the hem of her Karen Millen coat, with the block heel giving her a healthy dose of lift.

She paired the boot with repeat and new pieces in a tonal mix of teal, navy and black. The Karen Millen Premium Italian Manteco Wool Fitted Tailored Midi Coat returned in its deep teal shade, layered over Hobbs London’s black leather Annalise A-line skirt. A navy Aspinal of London Lottie Pillow clutch added a quilted contrast, while a Bee Smith hat and Van Peterson Designs’ Gemini gold labradorite earrings completed the lineup.

The choice also aligns with her official role: Tindall became a Fairfax & Favor ambassador in March, and the brand’s website cites her saying the label “combine[s] timeless elegance with craftsmanship and practicality… whether that’s for the casual day to day or smarter look when I’m attending events.” Saturday’s appearance fit that brief precisely — a polished rural-dress code moment built around a tall, structured boot suited to racecourse footing.

Fairfax & Favor

Tindall has been weaving Fairfax & Favor styles into her wardrobe steadily across the year. In June, she opened Royal Ascot’s second day in dusty rose suede pumps, leaning on tone-matched accessories and a soft romantic palette. At other Cheltenham meets, she has used the brand’s crossbody bags and understated heels to finish tailored looks, including January’s pinstripe suit from Veronica Beard.

Her Fitzrovia pair also joins a broader run of tall, fitted boots across recent celebrity outings. Jennifer Hudson’s matte leather thigh-highs at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Demi Moore’s Louboutin Kate Botta boots in New York both pushed into the same clean, over-the-knee territory. Within that circuit, Tindall’s suede block-heeled version reads firmly in step with the moment while remaining grounded in the dressing traditions of National Hunt racing.
