Dark, sculpted and sultry — the prism of siren makeup was alive and well on the GQ Men of the Year red carpet in Los Angeles on Thursday night, where hosts Sydney Sweeney, Stephen Colbert, Seth Rogen, Hailey Bieber, SZA, Oscar Isaac and Clipse welcomed industry giants across fashion, film, music and beyond.
On the red carpet outside of Chateau Marmont, Alix Earle, Shay Mitchell and more powered their feminine prowess through wispy lashes, cat-eye shadow and a pouty, pale pink lip. Others, such as supermodel and “Brat” covergirl Gabbriette Bechtel, channeled the same energy in cool-toned makeup, complete with gray lip liner and naked eyes.

Ahead of the “Dancing With the Stars” semi-finals on Tuesday, Alix Earle arrived at the GQ Men of the Year event in Los Angeles on Thursday night with lightly flushed cheeks, wispy eyelash extensions, and gold shimmer stamped on her lids. If she’s not handling it herself, Earle typically works with a range of makeup artists, from Jojo Martistry to Patrick Ta. For this look, she partnered with visionary Diane Buzzetta.
Shay Mitchell

Shay Mitchell stepped out for the annual event at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles on Thursday, touting a razor-sharp eye look, composed of blue, purple and silver hues. The style appeared like a modern-day interpretation of the Y2K smoky eye. On the cheeks, she wore a peachy blush, which was undercut by a cool-toned contour.
Mitchell tapped artist Ivan Núñez to construct her makeup aesthetic. Núñez is best known for collaborating with Doja Cat.
Gabbriette Bechtel

Gabbriette Betchel brought her skinny brows to Chateau Marmont on Thursday night in Los Angeles for the star-studded party and paired them with an even-toned, clean base. The rest of her visage was contoured with stone shades; her eyes, however, were left untouched.
Gabbriette was responsible for own makeup for the event.
Ayan Broomfield
Ayan Broomfield opts for bronzy makeup at 2025 GQ Men of the Year.

Ayan Broomfield arrived at Chateau Marmont on Thursday with a bronzy base, bright undereyes and black eyeliner in her waterline. The tip and bridge of her nose was accentuated with gold-hued highlighter, which embellished the metallic design in her dress. The 28-year-old tennis player also welcomed back her long inky black hair after keeping a bob cut for the past month. While her hair transformation was courtesy of artist Kaché, Broomfield was the architect behind her makeup.
Inanna Sarkis
Inanna Sarkis paints a brown smoky eye for the 2025 GQ Men of the Year party.

Inanna Sarkis paired her medium brown bob with a sunset smoky eye, comprised of earth tones and black cat-eye liner — fitting for her cheetah print dress. A rich auburn hue kissed her brow bone, before fading into a deep taupe over her eyelids. Her cheeks were only lightly blushed, as were her lips. Sarkis did not credit the makeup artist behind her look.
