Malik Washington start or sit: Week 8 fantasy football advice

The Miami Dolphins have fallen to 1-6 after a humiliating loss to the Cleveland Browns in Week 7. They now head to Atlanta to take on the 3-3 Falcons without Darren Waller, who was just put on I.R. along with Tyreek Hill was lost for the season earlier in the year. Their offense has been De’Von Achane for the most part, as he’s already seen 121 touches in just seven games, making up 40% of all the Dolphins carries and receptions.

Last week we saw WR Malik Washington lead the team with eight targets, but end up with just five receptions for 30 yards. But, that eight was easily his highest of the season, as five was his previous high. Washington has ability and that game last week was against a good Browns defense in poor weather conditions. This week they are in the dome in Atlanta on a much faster track. The matchup is still tough, but the Dolphins are much more suited for dome play.

Below, we’ll go over Malik Washington’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 8.

Fantasy Football analysis: Dolphins, WR, Malik Washington

As with every start/sit question this week we have to take into account that six teams are on bye. That will move players like Washington up in the pecking order. I currently have him ranked 42, but he’s right in the WR4/Flex tier in PPR leagues. I don’t feel as good about him in standard leagues though. Hopefully Tua Tagovailoa can see over the lineman enough to complete some short passes to hij and boost his PPR appeal this week with Waller out for the whole game.
