Winfrey was on hand to help honor Misty Copeland, who had her final performance at the American Ballet Theatre after being the first Black woman to serve as the theater’s principal dancer. Winfrey arrived in a white ensemble with black accents from Brunello Cucinelli. The dress was from the designer’s fall 2019 ready-to-wear collection and featured a long-sleeve white bodice and lapels.

The floor-length dress was designed with a slit at the front that allowed her heels to peek through. The TV personality matched the wide black ribbon at the waist of her dress with Sole Bliss’ Carmen high-heeled pumps in black. The pumps, which retail for $349, were created for people with bunions. They are made from a luxe suede leather upper, with soft leather lining, and a slim 2.5 inch suede-covered heel.

The shoes are made with features to ensure comfort, including built-in award-winning juanete, or bunion in English, technology, an innovative bunion bed with underfoot triple layer cushioning, anti-pronating arch support and a shock-resistant rubber heel. The pointed toe shoes are designed with a wider toe box with a V-shaped top line that eases foot crowding and disguises the appearance of bunions.

The Carmen pumps are available on the Sole Bliss website in an array of colors including metallic suede, black leather, metallic taupe, pale taupe patent, navy suede and sand leather. Queen Camilla‘s go-to pair of Sole Bliss heels are the Ingrid pumps, which she has been wearing since 2018.

The style is similar to Winfrey’s choice, except they feature a two-inch leather lined block heel. The royal is said to own more than a dozen of Sole Bliss shoes and is often spotted wearing the shoes while out for her public engagements.

The queen has reportedly worn the British brand’s footwear more than 80 times, so much so the company’s founder Lisa Kay has said that King Charles is familiar with the brand and the style his wife prefers. Sole Bliss shoes were created for women with bunions, wide feet and other foot problems, as well as for those simply seeking comfort.
