Halle Bailey floated down the beloved Spirit Tunnel on “The Jennifer Hudson Show” ahead of her interview on the talk show, which aired on Thursday. The singer contrasted a shiny burgundy minidress with high-heeled pumps in black suede.

For the appearance, Bailey kept it classic with her footwear. She opted for a pair of high-heeled, pointed-toe pumps. The heels were made from black suede and featured a heel measuring around four inches. The heels featured a similar design and silhouette to Stuart Weitzman‘s Stuart Power 100 pumps, which retail for $525.
For contrast, Bailey spiced up her look with a minidress by Kim Shui. The actress opted for the Jelixa zip-up wrap blazer dress, which Kali Uchis wore in white to a Q&A at the 2025 Billboard Latin Music Week on Tuesday.
The burgundy design featured a long sleeve, underwired bodysuit with a collar, which Bailey tucked in, and a plunging neckline. The bottom featured a wraparound tie skirt overlay, which had a train detail that she wore draped by the left side of her hip. The dress retails for $385.
Bailey danced down the Spirit Tunnel backstage, which has been aptly named the “Happy Place,” as the talk show’s staff sang her a song to the tune of “Under the Sea” from “The Little Mermaid,” which she starred in the live-action version in 2023.
The singer, who is gearing up to release her debut studio album “Love?…Or Something Like It” on Friday, stopped by the talk show to talk about her new music, her career, motherhood and more. She previously released two Chloe x Halle albums alongside her sister Chloe Bailey, releasing “The Kids Are Alright” in 2018 followed by “Ungodly Hour” in 2020.
