Shop July’s Revolutionary, Trackable Luggage

Everyone has that one bad dream in which they fly halfway across the world, only to find that their luggage — their precious, pricey luggage — is nowhere to be found at baggage claim. Calling the airline is of no use. Tracking options are unavailable. All hope is lost.

The “chasing your bags across an entire European city” narrative has also recently been popularized through the hit TV series “The Summer I Turned Pretty,” in which the protagonist Belly loses her Coach backpack, only to fight over it (and get it back) at a bustling, body-packed Parisian club. The beloved character recruits the powers of an Apple AirTag for the task at hand, but, had she been privy to the latest development from the travel brand July, she wouldn’t have to.

This month, July released its smartest luggage yet: the first trackable suitcase of its kind that is capable of putting an end to airport drama (though the company hasn’t been able to solve annoying flight delays quite yet).

Become the world’s most coordinated traveler with the world’s first trackable suitcase from July, which operates on a “no tags, no fuss” philosophy.

For its CaseSafe rollout, July teamed up with Apple and Google — creating a battery-operated, trackable lock that’s pairable with both tech giants’ Find My networks and runs on a single charge for an entire year. The best part is that it saves you from having to invest in any kind of additional tracking tools or accessories because, as we all know, less hassle leads to more enjoyable and restful vacations.

CaseSafe owners can track their luggage in real time for every step of the journey, from checking it in to sleepily retrieving the bag after a red-eye. “No extra tags, no extra steps – just tracking built directly into the lock, working with the devices people already use,” Athan Didaskalou, July’s founder, said in a press release. “It’s a game-changer for travelers, and we can’t wait to see how it transforms their journeys.”

Other ways in which your journey will be transformed thanks to the newest It-purchase in the world of travel? The CaseSafe Carry On has an aerospace-grade shell that is more than ready to take a beating, and its SilentMove wheels ensure squeaky power walks down airport hallways become a thing of the past. Inside, you’ll find handy organizational compartments for everything from a makeup bag and set of white t-shirts to your modular capsules made to house beauty products. What’s more, there’s even a stain-proof laundry bag in the suitcase for sorting your clothes without needing to resort to plastic bags or awkward hotel-floor piles, and the luggage’s telescopic, ergonomic handle extends to an easy-to-maneuver height that can be seamlessly pushed back to its home-base position.

Whether you go with the Carry On or Checked size, July’s new CaseSafe launch will make sure you know where your valuables are at all times… even when your Find My app says they’re three time zones away.

Our favorite part of July’s most recent drop just might be the sheer number of colorways the CaseSafe comes in. You can make a choice between the Pantone Color of the Year–adjacent Dark Brown, the pleasing-on-the-eyes Moss, Navy, Charcoal, or the kind of Blush Pink that graced the fall 2025 runways of top labels. (Yes, the pastel trend is carrying over from the fashion to lifestyle realm and, contrary to popular belief, isn’t only reserved for winter.)

For a limited time, July is offering a personalization service completely free, meaning you can doll up your travel bag with initials, a word, or a phrase up to 10 characters long. This, too, will help you distinguish your suitcase from the generic ones making their languid rounds on the baggage carousel.

Also amidst July’s CaseSafe collection are the Checked and Checked Plus styles, as well as the Family Set. Checked has an 80-liter capacity and can store enough clothes for a trip that’s up to two weeks long. Checked Plus’ 110-liter volume, on the other hand, best suits months-long getaways in preparation for which which you’re tempted to pack your entire closet. The Family Set, meanwhile, includes the Carry On, Checked, and Checked Plus picks (to be allocated based on each family member’s respective packing tendencies).

All CaseSafe sizes feature a Y-strap compression system that allows you to travel with the maximum number of tchotchkes, a 100-day return policy on all non-personalized styles, and a lifetime warranty. Will July completely kill off the ubiquitous AirTag? Not a chance. Will it eliminate the need to grab it on sale ahead of your Christmas getaway? Absolutely.

At a time when more celebrities than ever (think Shay Mitchell’s Béis) are wheeling out their own luggage brands or else collaborating with already-established ones (we see you, Florence by Mills x Delsey), the Australia-born, founded-in-2019 July is arguing that what this industry has been craving all along is not another colorway or jelly-like finish but innovation.

And it’s here to deliver that in spades, making you the most high-tech traveler on the trip that finally made it out of the group chat.
