In collaboration with celebrity stylist Cesar Ramierz, whose A-list clientele includes Jenna Ortega and Demi Lovato, Karol G honored her 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show debut with a hairstyle that paid homage to the lingerie brand’s history on Wednesday night in New York. The 34-year-old Colombian artist stormed the runway to perform between the parade of angel wings, and received her own coveted feathers in the process.

“While brainstorming and prepping for the show, I knew I wanted long, goddess-like hair that would flow down the runway and create drama during her hair flips,” Ramierz told WWD via email ahead of the show. “During rehearsals we kept the hair smooth and semi-straight with a little body; it was gorgeous. For the actual show, I aimed for OG Victoria’s Secret bombshell, bouncy waves reminiscent of the models from the ’90s and early 2000s.”

To achieve the ultra-feminine aesthetic, Ramierz used a handful of Kerastase products: the Bouffant Mousse for volume at the roots and the Gloss Absolu for shine on the ends. He also went in with his L’Oréal AirLight Pro hairdryer to achieve a “voluminous, smooth blowout.” Ramierz added: “Once dry, I went in with a Marcel iron to create big, soft waves. For a sexy, slightly messy finish, I sprayed Kerastase VIP.”

The concept of reawakening is a major theme in this year’s fashion show, celebrating the colloquial woman, from morning to night. More than that, the brand also aimed to evoke feelings of nostalgia, inviting guests on a sensorial journey through its fashion and fragrance for the first time. Here, scents were carefully paired with each look and section of the show, starting with Bare at the first light. Bare was then followed by Bombshell, Very Sexy Scarlet, Heavenly, Bombshell Soiree, and finally, Tease. With notes of pink lady apple, Tease Sugar Fleur Eau de Parfum closed out the Black Tie portion of the show.
