During Paris Fashion Week, as spring 2026 collections paraded down catwalks, looks were often topped by embellished coifs.
Decorating a few of them were headbands — in silver at Uma Wang or of a fuzzier, crocheted ilk at Ann Demeulemeester.
Hair accessories tended to veer in various other directions, as well. A silver spangled headdress sparkled at Balenciaga, turbans resembling wrapped hair took the stage at Louis Vuitton, and woven tresses worn perched atop models’ heads, seconding as fascinators, at Torishéju.

As an extension of the golden face on a wicker bag carried by a Schiaparelli model, golden tendrils looped around her neck and spread over her hair. Also sculptural were the amorphic headpieces at Noir Kei Ninomiya and the XXL butterfly spotted at Matières Fécales.

Hats took on another dimension, practically as extensions of hairstyles themselves, at the likes of Christian Wijnants, Comme des Garçons, Dior, Hodakova and Lanvin.
