It has been a tough start to the 2025 season for the Tennessee Titans.
And rookie quarterback Cam Ward offered a brutal assessment of the team following Sunday’s loss to the previously winless Houston Texans.
Tennessee dropped to 0-4 in a shutout loss to the Texans, losing by a final score of 26-0. Ward and the rest of the Tennessee offense could not get much of anything done in the loss, as the rookie quarterback completed just 10-of-26 passes for 108 yards and an interception. The Titans’ rushing attack fared little better, with Tony Pollard picking up 64 yards on 14 carries, but with Houston only scoring six points in the first half, the door was open for Tennessee to get into the game.
But they never walked through that door.
Speaking after the loss, Wared offered this brutal assessment:
The rookie did not stop there:
As for when their first win might come, Tennessee faces back-to-back road games over the next two weeks. In Week 5, they’ll travel to Arizona to take on the Cardinals, before a Week 6 date with the Las Vegas Raiders.
We’ll see if the offense, and the Titans, can get on track over the next two weeks.
