Week 4 of the 2025 NFL season will wrap up with a Monday night doubleheader and the second matchup will feature the Cincinnati Bengals visiting the Denver Broncos at 8:15 p.m. ET on ABC.
The Bengals are teetering on a full meltdown in the aftermath of Joe Burrow’s injury and they were absolutely beaten down by the Vikings in a 48-10 bludgeoning last Sunday. Wide receiver Tee Higgins was a non-factor in the blowout loss and it’s already panic button time for fantasy managers who selected him high.
Below, we’ll go over Higgins’ outlook in fantasy football for Week 4.
Fantasy Football analysis: Bengals WR Tee Higgins
Higgins caught just one of two targets for 15 yards against the Vikings last week and his lack of production represented just how much of a disaster last Sunday’s loss was. Entering the season as a top-15 fantasy wideout in ADP, the veteran has been one of the biggest fantasy disappointments so far this year with just seven receptions for 104 yards and one touchdown through three games.
Burrow’s injury has obviously thrown a wrench into the Bengals’ plans and Higgins has been severely affected with just 14 targets through three games. The receiver himself remains optimistic that catching opportunities will come his way while his teammate Ja’Marr Chase was more blunt, saying that if he wants the ball, he needs to “effing ask for it.” We’ll see if backup quarterback Jake Browning can establish a connection with the veteran wideout on Monday night.
Start or sit in Week 4 PPR leagues?
Start. There may be a bit of sunk-cost fallacy with Higgins here, but I’m willing to give him another shot as a starter for one more week. Last Sunday’s game against the Vikings got away from the Bengals really quickly and they may have simply waived the white flag early. On top of that, the Broncos are coming off a game against the Chargers where they allowed five different receivers to register at least four catches, so this could be an opportunity for a Higgins bounce back. Stay the course for this week and if he underperforms, then you can abandon ship.
