Week 4 of the 2025 NFL season is upon us and the action will continue on Sunday with the New Orleans Saints visiting the Buffalo Bills at 1 p.m. ET on CBS.
The Bills have rolled out to a 3-0 start and have had a few extra days of prep after downing the Dolphins in a 31-21 victory last Thursday night. Wide receiver Khalil Shakir played an important role in the victory and he will look to do the same in this home matchup for Buffalo.
Below, we’ll go over Shakir’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 4.
Fantasy Football analysis: Bills WR Khalil Shakir
Shakir had four receptions for 45 yards and a clutch fourth-quarter touchdown off a screen pass that put the Bills ahead in last Thursday’s divisional showdown against the Dolphins. The fourth-year wideout has been productive, but has yet to have a true breakout performance in fantasy.
That could be a function of Buffalo’s passing attack being a committee as he, Keon Coleman, Dalton Kincaid, and Joshua Palmer all have target shares of under 20% entering Week 4. Shakir does rank 12th among receivers in yards after catch, however, so he’s at least taking advantage of his limited opportunities.
Start or sit in Week 4 PPR leagues?
Start. The Saints are one of six teams yielding a completion percentage of over 70% to opposing quarterbacks while also having a poor defensive passing EPA of 0.20. This is definitely a game where Shakir can turn his handful of targets into big gains and could even find the end zone again. For fantasy managers on the fence, I’d give him a Flex spot start for the week.
