U.S.-Spec 2026 Audi A6 Revealed With Gas V6 Making 362 Horsepower

At launch, available wheel sizes will range from 19 inches to 21 inches, so if you want something larger, you’ll have to turn to the aftermarket. The 19s will be the base wheels and come with all-season run-flats. There will also be two 20-inch options that come on all-season run-flats, meaning that if you want summer performance tires, you’re going to have to spring for the 21-inch wheels.

Audi also says it will offer 11 different paint options, including a bunch of boring ones (white, a different white, black, gray, a different gray and silver), as well as several Good Colors: Grenadine Red, Firmament Blue, Ascari Blue, Madeira Brown and a new Midnight Green.

And while the base price has gone up compared to the outgoing A6, it isn’t quite as big a jump as it might initially look. After all, the old A6 started at $58,100 without the destination charge, but it came with a turbocharged four-cylinder. If you wanted the V6, it would run you $62,600. Meanwhile, the new base price on the 2026 A6 is $64,100. That’s more, but isn’t that much more. Of course, you then have to add the $1,295 destination charge, which brings the base price up to $65,395.

Meanwhile, the least-expensive six-cylinder BMW 5 Series you can get is the 540i, which starts at $68,275, and if you want a six-cylinder E-Class, you’re looking at a base price of $73,550 for the E450, both including destination. So, while we’re still talking about a luxury sedan that costs more than most people make in a year, in a way, the 2026 Audi A6 is looking like a bargain in its segment.
