Toyota Drops Impressive 2025 Tacoma TRD Pro Lease Deal for August

Leasing a Tacoma TRD Pro might be the most affordable way to go

The Tacoma TRD Pro remains the top trim Tacoma, and for August, Toyota will let you behind the wheel for as little as $913 per month. While that figure doesn’t include tax, title, and other fees, it does include 12,000 miles per year and two years of complimentary, no-cost maintenance. The lease deal requires $3,999 due at signing, and the lease term is 36 months. Opting instead for 10,000 miles per year reduces monthly payments even further to $897 per month, with all other terms staying the same.

Prefer $0 down on your Tacoma TRD Pro lease?

If you’d prefer to skip the $3,999 due at signing on Toyota’s August lease deal for the Tacoma TRD Pro, you can roll that cost into the monthly payment instead. Doing so gets us a rough estimate of what a zero down Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro lease looks like. Spreading the amount evenly across the 36-month term adds about $111 per month. That brings the effective payment to roughly $1,024 per month with 12,000 miles per year or about $1,008 per month with 10,000 miles per year. Both options still include two years of complimentary ToyotaCare maintenance, giving drivers added peace of mind with nothing upfront. These figures don’t include taxes or any other fees that leasing a Tacoma TRD Pro might incur. We recommend entering your zip code into Toyota’s website to most accurately estimate a payment.

More about the Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro

The 2025 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro stands as the ultimate off-road expression of Toyota’s best-selling midsize pickup. FOX adaptive shocks, all-terrain tires, skid plates, and a lifted stance give it the capability to handle rock, sand, and mud with confidence. Like the similar Tacoma Trailhunter, the Tacoma TRD Pro relies on a 2.4-liter four-cylinder supplemented by hybrid power good for 326 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque, and can tow up to 6,000 pounds. Whereas the Trailhunter is geared towards overlanding and low-speed maneuvers, the Tacoma TRD Pro is tuned to higher speed off-roading like desert trails. Notably — and perhaps important to you — the Tacoma TRD Pro is only available with a 5.0-foot bed.

Final thoughts

The Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro doesn’t come cheap. It’s the most expensive Tacoma in the brand’s portfolio, and the monthly lease payment certainly reflects that. Leasing a Toyota product is always a bit of a weird value proposition, but these trucks could make sense for a few reasons. For one, they’re expensive, so leasing might be the only way to get it in your driveway at a payment that doesn’t make your head spin. Two, the hybrid powertrain is still unproven to some. Finally, there’s the fact that the truck is gonna get some bumps and bruises if you’re using it right. Maybe you don’t want to look at that for more than three years, so you can simply turn the truck in and get a new one when the time comes.
