With fall just around the corner, Teddy Santis and New Balance have revealed the upcoming lineup of Made in USA sneakers.
New Balance’s Made in USA fall collection, designed by Santis, places a heavy emphasis on the 992 and 990v6. Four different colorways of the former will release in the coming months, while the latter will be subject to three. Forming the rest of the collection is the 997 and 1300, which each get a single colorway.
Perhaps most intriguing among the 992s is a tonal brown edition featuring snakeskin-textured suede. It’s joined by another variant featuring two shades of purple, as well as black, white and orange; another in tonal blue; and a pair nearly uniformly olive green.
The 990v6 slate consists of a pair in beige, cream and navy; a more monochromatic variant also using cream and shades of brown; and an olive and brown that could warrant a “Beef and Broccoli” nickname.
A one-off 997 makes heavy use of yellow, while the single 1300 features a predominantly brown suede upper with a few other shades of the color.
New Balance’s Made in USA line boasts a higher level of quality than its mainline offerings, with at least 70 percent of its production handled Stateside. Santis, the founder of Aimé Leon Dore, has been the creative director of the subdivision since 2021.
New Balance’s Made in USA fall 2025 collection will begin releasing later this month, starting with the 992 “Dark Camo” and 990v6 “Incense” on Thursday on New Balance’s website and select third-party retailers. Pricing for both is set at $200.
