A24 has shared the trailer for the new movie If I Had Legs I’d Kick You, starring Rose Byrne and A$AP Rocky. Directed by Mary Bronstein, the high-anxiety drama film also boasts Conan O’Brien, Danielle Macdonald, and Ivy Wolk in its cast. Watch the trailer below.
If I Had Legs I’d Kick You follows a psychotherapist named Linda (Byrne) as she struggles to stay afloat after her daughter falls sick, her ceiling bursts from water damage, and her family moves into a motel in the process. Rocky plays James, a nosy neighbor who might be up to no good, while O’Brien plays her therapist, Wolk is a motel employee, and Macdonald appears to be a patient. In the trailer, Rocky suggests he can access some treats online that may be of interest to Byrne’s character.
If I Had Legs I’d Kick You is eyeing an October 10 release. Bronstein wrote, directed, and executive produced the feature film, while a handful of others, including Josh Safdie, helped produce it.
A$AP Rocky’s last album was 2018’s Testing, although he’s been teasing its follow-up, Don’t Be Dumb, for years now. It supposedly includes the singles “Tailor Swif” and “Highjack,” as well as tracks he debuted at Rolling Loud.
