Lady Amelia and Lady Eliza Spencer Wear Matching Heels at Royal Ascot

Lady Amelia and Lady Eliza Spencer returned to Royal Ascot on Friday, wearing a coordinated ensemble that balanced sharp tailoring with glossy accents. The sisters, nieces of the late Princess Diana, continued their signature approach to sartorial symmetry in all-white ensembles grounded by identical pairs of black patent leather heels.

Both wore The Fold London’s black patent Savona pumps, which have a pointed toe, squared front and low-cut vamp. The small, angled heel gave the style a modern feel, while the glossy finish stood out against the light textures of their summer suits.

Lady Amelia wore a tailored pencil skirt with a coordinating jacket fastened by four black buttons. Her wide-brimmed cream hat, trimmed in black and finished with a side rosette, echoed the palette of her accessories: a pale lilac Aspinal of London Midi Mayfair tote and bold Chatila jewels. Her necklace featured red rubies framed in diamonds, paired with drop earrings in a matching palette.

Lady Eliza wore a double-breasted white blazer with cape-style sleeves, paired with structured pleated trousers. She carried the same black Aspinal bag and topped off the look with a coordinating hat featuring a simple black band. Her Chatila necklace featured emerald-cut green stones accented by diamonds, coordinated with matching earrings that framed her hair, worn straight and tucked behind one ear.

The sisters’ appearance at Ascot continues a recent pattern of sartorial symmetry at high-profile events. During London Fashion Week in February, they attended the Richard Quinn show in complementary black-and-white looks. Lady Eliza wore a satin cocktail minidress with a bold waist bow, and Lady Amelia wore a full-length black gown with a plunging white bodice and cap sleeves.

Last June, they also embraced a tonal theme at the Cartier Queen’s Cup Polo event in Egham, both in ivory Tory Burch ensembles styled with Cartier jewelry. Their looks — a belted poplin dress for Lady Amelia and silk separates for Lady Eliza — leaned into the quiet luxury trend that’s continued to define their public-facing style.

Held each June at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire, Royal Ascot is one of the most tradition-bound fixtures on the British social calendar. The five-day event pairs championship racing with strict dress codes — and often doubles as a showcase for evolving royal style.
