Queen Letizia Rewears Hugo Boss Sandals for Armed Forces Day 2025

Queen Letizia embraced a familiar warm-weather formula for Spain’s Armed Forces Day celebration in Tenerife, rewearing her go-to white block-heel sandals from Hugo Boss.

The Spanish royal paired the minimalist Melanie 50 style — featuring a padded toe strap, slim ankle buckle and low sculpted heel — with a short-sleeve white midi dress by Carolina Herrera, originally from the designer’s 2019 resort collection.

The A-line silhouette was embroidered with tonal florals and powder blue accents, which she matched to a square-shaped clutch in the same shade. Letizia first debuted the dress in 2022, wearing it for multiple summer events, and has since brought it back into regular rotation.

Queen Letizia has returned to her white Hugo Boss Melanie 50 sandals on multiple occasions across 2024 and into 2025. She wore them to the 2024 Princess of Girona Awards with a beige asymmetrical Mango dress and a small white Carolina Herrera bucket bag. Earlier this month, she chose the same shoes for the Madrid Book Fair, this time pairing them with a floral Hugo Boss dress and drop pearl earrings. Crafted in white nappa leather with three slim straps and a 5 cm block heel, the style has become a fixture in her summer wardrobe.

She’s favored similar summer staples in recent months, often turning to cream espadrille wedges for daytime events. During a visit to Guadalupe, she styled them with a bright floral shirtdress, a cobalt clutch and blue gemstone earrings. For more formal occasions, she’s also rotated in white sneakers worn with tailored linen separates — a recurring combination that blends practicality with polish.

Neutral tones and easy tailoring continue to shape Letizia’s summer wardrobe. She regularly returns to familiar labels — Hugo Boss, Carolina Herrera and Mango, to name a few — and favors pieces she’s worn before. On her feet, she alternates between espadrilles, block heels, low slingbacks and, occasionally, structured loafers.

She’s also become known for repeating outfits on public duty, not as a statement but as a practical choice. The approach reflects her broader style ethos: wear what works, invest in well-made staples and make space for longevity over newness.
