Founded in 1984 in Barcelona by Isak AndicĀ and Nahman Andic, Mango is a brand Queen Letizia often returns to for royal power-suiting moments. In December 2024, the Spanish royal wore another grey Mango suit as a subtle way to pay homage to founder Isak Andic, who died at the age of 71 that same month.
Queen Letizia also wore a pepper-gray, wool three-piece Mango suit in February for a board meeting of the FAD Youth Foundation (Foundation Against Drug Addiction) organization.
Powering suiting among contemporary royal women is thanks to trailblazing fashion icons like Princess Diana, who wore a Catherine Walker suit with a Hackett waistcoat to an event in April 1988 and continued to push fashion boundaries with menswear and tailoring, which has seen a global resurgence.
