Simone Biles brought a pop of color to the 2025 Met Gala red carpet on Monday in New York City. The venerated athlete and seven-time Olympic gold medalist attended the event alongside her husband of two years, Jonathan Owens.
For the gala ahead of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s spring exhibition, Biles opted for a bright blue high-low dress courtesy of Harbison Studio. The sleeveless dress featured a bold bodice and skirt in a striking shade of blue with a bow at the back of the waist and flowing blue train with an illusion bubble hem.

The bodice of Biles’ dress featured dazzling jewel appliqués and gems running down the front placket of the dress. The look included a striking white collar with silver gem bow at the center as well. Biles’ heels coordinated with her dress perfectly.
Biles’ husband, NFL star Jonathan Owens, styled a suited look with a touch of drama. The athlete wore a crisp white suit with a Margot McKinney Atlantic pendant accessorizing one of his lapels. The football star also had a shawl draped over one shoulder and carried a cane, which offered a clearer look at Owens’ fringe cuffs.

Simone Biles’ fashion acumen has grown over the last several years. The gymnast recently attended the 2025 Kentucky Derby wearing another jewel-adjacent tone in a purple strapless dress by Charah. She accessorized the look with Jimmy Choo heels.
At the 2025 Laureus World Sport Awards last April, Biles wore another strapless look, opting for a formal evening gown by Saudi Arabian designer Eman AlAjlan. The dress featured a strapless bodice with an intricate black pattern over a nude underlay.
