Benefit Cosmetics and Dezi Eyewear have collaborated on a juicy new limited-edition kit featuring their signature products with tints done in cherry-inspired hues.
The beauty brand and Desi Perkins partnered on the Dezi x Benefit Tints Out set, which includes the Benetint Lip & Cheek Stain in Dark Cherry and Dezi’s complementary sunglasses with pink lenses and a matching case. The kit will be available exclusively on Sephora.com for $95 on May 7.

It’s a “full circle” moment for Perkins, who first collaborated with the brand as an influencer partner in 2018 for the Bomb Ass Brows makeup brow set, and returned to the same studio to shoot the campaign for their latest partnership. “They trusted me creatively and completely supported any idea I had, so fast forward to 2025, it felt like such a full circle moment to collaborate again, but now with my brand Dezi and Benefit,” Perkins told WWD.
Perkins launched her Dezi Eyewear brand in 2020 after finding success as a beauty influencer. She currently has more than 7 million followers across social media platforms. “I started in beauty and that is where I built my voice and my community,” she said. “When I launched Dezi Eyewear, I felt the confidence to do this because of the community I had behind me. I wanted to create bold designs that pushed the limits. Partnering with Benefit, a brand that’s been fearless and fun since day one, feels like an extension of my own journey.”

For the new eyewear design, Perkins said she wanted to merge both brands in a “seamless and intentional” way, taking cues from the Benetint Dark Cherry product’s palette and luster.
“The glasses should look like they are made from the tint—ultra-glossy, inspired by the new color launch,” Perkins explained. The design synergy with Benetint is seen in the eyewear’s faded lens “so that the blush could peek through even while the sunglasses are on.” Perkins added that she pulled inspiration from the packaging as well, incorporating the Benetint cap as a design element on the hinge of the frames, which is seen in a radial design resembling pleats in a circular, symmetrical pattern. “I felt this was a little Easter egg because it’s not obvious right away,” she explained. “The design process just clicked. That’s how I know it was a good fit.”

In addition to the collaborative kit, Benetint’s new Dark Cherry will also be released along with a new Raspberry shade on the Sephora app on May 6, followed by releases on sephora.com on May 7 and in stores the following day. They will retail for $26.
It’s the first time since Benefit launched nearly 50 years ago that its bestselling rose Benetint Lip & Cheek Stain will release in two new shades.
“When we began thinking about this shade expansion of Benefit’s first, and one of our most iconic products, we knew we wanted to work with one of our longstanding partners to celebrate the launch,” said Vivianna Blanch, SVP of US marketing and international liaison. “We immediately thought of Desi and Dezi Eyewear, and knew it was the perfect time to bring the two brands together.”

Blanch said the brand made considerations on the most versatile shades that “flatter a wide range of skin tones” for the Benetint color expansion. It also comes as the “Cherry Girl Aesthetic” has swept social media, with more than 20 million TikTok views. The fashion and beauty trend, which embraces bold red hues and motifs, has inspired recent product releases from Tarte Cosmetics and more.
Benefit Cosmetics’ Benetint
“Since we know that Gen-Z likes to shop trends, we’ve launched multiple trend-focused campaigns that include Benetint. For example, our Jelly Donut Trend that we activated at Sephora in June 2024. We leveraged Benefit’s No. 1 acquisition SKU at Sephora to drive a fresh beauty trend targeting Gen-Z,” Blanch said. “We came up with the Jelly Donut Cheek by combining our viral Benetint with our High Beam Highlighter, as a nod to the popularity of ‘yummy’ trends on TikTok like Glazed Donut Nails, Latte Makeup, Strawberry Makeup.”
