Chappell Roan is keeping it busy during Paris Fashion Week. After making her front row debut at Rabanne‘s show on Thursday, the rising pop star quickly swapped her metallic satin set and drag queen-inspired makeup for a celebrity-favorite dress and an even more dramatic beauty look before arriving at Rick Owens‘ fall 2025 runway.

Styled by Genesis Webb, Roan wore Owens’ popular Prong gunmetal dress, which features an off-the-shoulder construction and a straight neckline with a deep, triangle-shaped cutout at the bust. The style debuted at Owens’ spring 2022 runway collection. It has been worn by Katy Perry, Cardi B, Heidi Klum and Kim Kardashian, among others.

Adding to the futuristic-looking frock, Roan completed her look with an otherworldly makeup, featuring distinctive black dots arranged in curved patterns above her eyebrows and along their cheeks. Wearing white contact lenses, her eyes featured sharp, extended black eyeliner with dramatic winged tips that sweep outward. Andrew Dahling, who’s been working with Roan since her rise to fame, is behind the makeup.
Hairstylist Dom Forletta completed Roan’s look, giving her a voluminous red hair that framed her face.
Roan, who is set to release her new single, “The Giver,” on March 13, talked about her aesthetic choices on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” “My stylist Genesis Webb and I pull from drag, horror movies, burlesque, theater.…I love looking pretty and scary,” she said.
Talking to WWD at the Rabanne fall 2025 show, Roan revealed her excitement about her first Paris Fashion Week. “I’ve been on tour for two years, so I can do the fun pop star stuff now,” she said. The singer is also expected to attend Valentino’s fall 2025 show on Sunday.

Rick Owens’ fall 2025 collection was inspired by industrial life. “The clothes are harder and they’re more rugged,” the designer told WWD’s editor, international Miles Socha.
