Stephen Curry has hope, and the Golden State Warriors again have life ahead of the 2025 NBA Playoffs. The Warriors have been on a roll since acquiring Jimmy Butler at the trade deadline, running off nine wins in their first 10 games and surging up the Western Conference standings in the process. The Warriors have already forced their way into a protected playoff seed at No. 6 in the West entering Thursday night, and Curry is once again peaking at the right time.
Curry dropped a season-high 56 points on 12-of-19 shooting from three-point range recently in a win over the Orlando Magic. His hot streak may just be getting started. With the Warriors facing the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday, Curry hit an absolutely ridiculous three-pointer just before the halftime buzzer just from inside halfcourt. This feels like one of the wildest shots of Curry’s career, and that’s saying something.
Watch Steph beat the halftime with an unfathomable turnaround logo three here:
The alternate angle is even better. Curry might be a warlock.
What a great call by Ian Eagle, too. Curry really isn’t human.
Curry turns 37 years old next week, but it doesn’t feel like he’s slowing down much. His takeover of the gold medal game against France at the 2024 Paris Olympics was an all-time great moment. He still has so much left in the tank, as he proved in his recent scoring explosion against Orlando.
The Warriors are rolling since getting Butler. Luka Doncic and LeBron James have the Los Angeles Lakers humming, too. The playoffs can’t get here soon enough.
