Ibiza Gallery Luxury Retail Complex to Feature First The Attico Flagship

MILAN — A new luxury retail and lifestyle complex bowing in Ibiza, Spain, this summer will welcome the first flagship for The Attico.

The development, spearheaded by Grupo Empresas Matutes and named Ibiza Gallery, is located in Playa d’en Bossa, the popular resort situated two miles south of Ibiza Town next to renowned nightlife spots Ushuaia Ibiza and Hi Ibiza.

The complex will combine luxury retail with tony dining spots, as well as accommodations and an art gallery. Financial details of the real estate development were not disclosed.

“Ibiza is synonymous with exclusivity and a unique lifestyle. With the opening of Ibiza Gallery, we aim to offer residents and visitors a space where luxury is experienced holistically, combining fashion, art, gastronomy and entertainment experiences in an unparalleled setting,” said Danny Gómez, the development’s global partnerships director. “This project not only reinforces Ibiza’s position as a global luxury destination but also contributes to the island’s economic and touristic development.”

Ibiza Gallery said confirmed tenants also will include Jil Sander, Roberto Cavalli, Missoni and Antonioli, among others. The latter is opening its second store on the island at the luxury complex, which boasts 20 retail units overall.

The Attico‘s founders Gilda Ambrosio and Giorgia Tordini were clearly in their element picking the Spanish island — known for its stunning landscapes and water, as well as nightlife — for their first flagship.

In a separate statement, The Attico said the opening “strengthens the brand’s international footprint, consolidating its ties with a sophisticated and cosmopolitan clientele.”

The boutique spans 1,614 square feet and is expected to open in June.

The brand has toyed with temporary retail concepts in the past, opening pop-up shops with retail partners including Antonia in Milan; The Webster Los Angeles; Antonioli in Ibiza; Galeries Lafayette in Paris; Saks and Bergdorf Goodman in New York, as well as Harrods in London, Harvey Nichols in Dubai, and Space Mue in Seoul.

In addition to retail, Ibiza Gallery is to become the home of the first Hell’s Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay restaurant in Europe, as well as of Tatel Ibiza, which already operates a unit inside the Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza.
