Fresh off her first Super Bowl commercial, Alix Earle is returning to Sport Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue. The model and influencer announced the news in a joint Instagram post with the publication on Monday.
In the Sports Illustrated images, the 24-year-old wears two different bikinis. One is a white and gold hand-knit “Manu” bikini set from Brazilian brand Lybethras. Shot by Yu Tsai, she accessorized with a gold body chain and a pendant necklace from Jacquie Aiche and Lizzie Fortunato. In another video, she wears a black bikini from Vesey, a line co-founded by SI Swimsuit editor Margot Zamet, who styled the shoot.
Earle previously made history with SI Swimsuit, becoming the first-ever digital cover star in 2024.
The model started her career as an influencer posting a variety of videos, namely her “get ready with me” style of vlogs. As her popularity and influence grew, she has leveraged her viral fame for deals and brand partnerships. Last year, that included fronting a campaign for Frame, the Los Angeles-based denim company. In January, that relationship grew into a collaboration with the company releasing “The Alix” skinny jean, hoping to bring back the popular silhouette from the early 2000s.
This month, Earle starred in a Super Bowl commercial for Carl’s Jr.’s Hangover Burger, she appeared in the spot wearing a star-shaped bikini top and shorts. She was styled by Danyul Brown, a collaborator who has been outfitting her in looks from brands like Jacquemus, Alexander McQueen and Stella McCartney over the past few weeks for various events.
Earle will join recently announced names like Parris Goebel, Denise Bidot and Ming Lee Simmons in the issue. Sports Illustrated Swimsuit has been a stand-alone issue since 1997.
