The 2025 NFL Draft is right around the corner, and with that comes each NFL team setting their draft boards and setting their prospective team needs. The Tennessee Titans, who have the first overall pick, have the unfortunate honor of being the team with the most holes. However, how should these needs be ranked? Should they go after an offensive lineman early, or find a receiver? what do they do at QB?
Here’s how we ranked the Titans’ biggest needs, and prospects who fit their needs the best.
1. Quarterback
I think Titans’ head coach Brian Callahan simply had enough of both Will Levis and Mason Rudolph last year. Their play under center was far too chaotic, a combination of taking sacks, horrible interceptions and sinking their passing game into the depths of despair. The Titans have a lot of needs, but finding a young QB they can trust is near the top of that board.

2. Edge rusher
The Titans finished 27th in the NFL in Pressure Rate and 29th in the NFL in sacks, which is terrible, horrible, no good and very bad. DT Jeffrey Simmons is the straw that stirs the drink for the Titans’ pass rush, but EDGE Harold Landry has a potential contract out coming up and hasn’t produced since coming off injury. Getting some more youth and explosiveness up front should be a priority.

3. Right tackle
Nicholas Petit-Frere might’ve been the worst right tackle in football last year. His 6.0% Blown Block Rate was eighth-worst in all of football among high-volume right tackles, but against the pass it especially gets bad. Getting the Titans a new right tackle who can do some of the stuff offensive line coach Bill Callahan asks of them is going to be extremely important, especially if a new QB will be under center.

4. Wide Receiver
Quick, can you name the Titans’ second-leading receiver from last season? Exactly. TE Chig Okonkwo was second in receptions, but the wide receiver situation for Tennessee is dire. Outside of WR Calvin Ridley, the only receivers currently under contract for the Titans combined for 13 catches, which is…bad! If there’s going to be a new QB in Nashville, there needs to be another credible receiving threat on the outside.
