The 2025 Corvette ZR1 Will Cost You At Least $175,000, And It’s Still A Performance Bargain

We now know how much Chevy’s long-awaited Corvette ZR1 supercar will cost the folks who are brave enough to strap themselves into the 1,000+ horsepower beast: $174,995 including destination. I know that sounds like a lot, but like all Corvettes, it’s still a bit of a performance bargain.

Look at the rest of the automotive landscape. Where else are you getting a 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged flat-plane crank V8 with 1,064 horsepower and 828 pound-feet of torque for less money? Where else are you getting a car that can do 0-60 in just 2.3 seconds, the quarter mile in 9.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 233 mph for a price that’s similar to a mid-level Range Rover? Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini and McLaren don’t offer anything in the same stratosphere as this car for such little money.

Anyway, Chevy says it’s going to begin accepting orders for the 2025 ZR1 in the middle of next month and production will begin sometime in the second quarter of this year. Prices start at $174,995, including $1,695 for destination for the 1LZ coupe. If you want a convertible (which you should), that starts at $184,995. The other trim level, 3LZ (there’s no 2LZ for whatever reason) starts at $185,995 for the coupe and $195,995 for the ‘vert.

Of course, there are some options to choose from. The ZR1 Carbon Fiber Aero Package will set ZR1 buyers back $8,495. It replaces the standard aero package and adds a massive, high-downforce rear wing, front dive planes and a tall hood spoiler. It also adds underbody strakes for even more downforce. All of that combined comes out to over 1,200 pounds of downforce. If that’s not enough for you, feel free to add the $1,500 ZTK Performace Package to the Carbon Fiber pack which turns everything up a notch. It includes stuff like stiffer springs, a returned magnetic ride suspension and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires. Worth it if you ask me.

I know a fully loaded price of $205,990 for a 3LZ convertible with both packages sounds like a hell of a lot of money for a Corvette, but you’ve really got to look at this car in the context of its competition. Nothing even comes close. God bless America, baby.
