Every Car You Can Get With A Manual In 2025

The death of the manual transmission has been talked about for decades at this point. With the advent of electric vehicles and a general attitude shift as to what a car should be, stick-shift cars are getting left by the wayside. Still, some soldier on, undeterred by what has been said about them and their lack of popularity.

In actuality, manuals are having a tiny comeback in 2025. By my count, there are currently 34 different manual transmission options buyers have on the new-car market. They range in everything from economy hatchbacks and off-roading SUVs to purpose-built sports cars and multi-million dollar hypercars. Basically, there’s something for everyone on this list.

Before we begin, I quickly need to give a shout out to BMW and Toyota. Both of those companies currently make four different manual cars each. Sure, Acura and Honda offer four when combined, but they’re all pretty much the same car. Kudos to you guys. Anyway, take a look at every manual car you can still buy in 2025.

Acura Integra & Integra Type S

I love both the Integra and the Integra Type S. Both of these cars offer one of the best-feeling manual transmissions money can buy. That’s especially great because they’re some of the cheapest cars on this list.

The Integra may be one of the cheapest cars here, but the Valour may be the best-looking. There’s just something about it that is absolutely fantastic. The fact you can

BMW M2

The M2 is a phenomenal car to drive, and while I’m glad BMW offers a manual in it, I wish it felt a bit better. It’s just too rubbery for my taste. Still, I suppose beggars can’t be choosers!

BMW M3 & M4

The M3 and M4 suffer from the same issue as the M2. Plus, you can only get the manual in the base, non-Competition trim. That being said, who am I to complain? I’m just happy BMW bothered at all to throw a six-speed box in these things.

BMW Z4

As a manual BMW Z4 owner, this makes me so happy. You best believe I will be watching the depreciation on these things.

Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing

The CT4-V Blackwing is the car that shoved the M3 in its locker and after asking for lunch money. A base price right around $64,000 makes it a hell of a deal, too.

Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing

This is one of the only sedans that upstages the CT4. That’s mostly because of its mammoth supercharged V8 that you can still get bolted to a row-your-own manual.

Ford Bronco

Ford went after the Jeep Wrangler with the Bronco, so it’s no surprise they put a 7-ish speed manual in it. I say 7-ish because it’s technically a traditional 6-speed that also has a crawler gear.

Ford Mustang

Not only is the Mustang the last V8 muscle car you can buy now that the Charger is electric and the Camaro is dead, it’s also the only one you can get with a manual transmission.

GMA T.33 & GMA T.50

Gordan Murray, you are a madman. I just wish I had the multi-million dollars it takes to buy either of these cars. Sadly, neither you or I do, and it doesn’t matter because these cars are all sold out anyway.

Honda Civic Si & Civic Type R

Like the Integra and Integra Type S, the Civic siblings get one of the most wonderful manual transmissions on sale today. Every time I’m in one of these cars, I find myself shifting needlessly because it feels so satisfying.

Hyundai Elantra N

The Elantra N is an enthusiast car, so it’s only fitting it gets an enthusiast transmission. That being said, if the ways of the clutch don’t entice you, you can always spring for the 7-speed DCT, but you really shouldn’t.

Jeep Wrangler

It’ll be a sad day when the Wrangler stops offering a manual transmission, but luckily today is still not that day. Enjoy it.

Koenigsegg CC850

I would love to see a world where the transmission technology of the CC850 trickles down into more normal cars. Imagine how sick it would be to go between a true automatic and a true manual mode in your everyday car. It’s just a brilliant idea.

Lotus Emira

A light, 400-horsepower mid-engined coupe with a manual transmission sounds just about as close to driving heaven as you can get. Hopefully, Lotus can stick around long enough to keep pumping these beautiful little cars out.

Mazda3 Hatchback

The only way to get a Mazda3 with a manual is to go for the base 2.5-liter NA motor. While it would be cool to get a six-speed box with the turbo motor, I understand that no one else would care (or buy one)

Mazda MX-5 Miata

Hell will freeze over before the Miata isn’t offered with a manual.

Nissan Versa

This is one of the few old-school applications of a manual transmission on this list. It’s not for fun or performance. It’s for cheapness. Oh, it’s also the only five-speed manual you can buy.

Nissan Z

The Nissan Z is quietly one of the best-looking cars on sale today. It’s just a wonderful car to see on the rare occasions you actually see one. The fact it has a manual like a true driver’s car makes it even better.

Pagani Utopia

Pagani recognizes that even the richest collectors want manual transmissions. When with other high-end performance companies like Ferrari and Lamborghini follow suit?

Porsche 718 Boxster & Cayman

The gearing on these cars is too long, but who the hell cares? It’s a six-speed Porsche-built manual.

Porsche 911

Sooner rather than later, we will see an end to the Porsche 911 with a manual gearbox, but today is not that day.

Subaru BRZ / Toyota GR86

The Toyotabru twins are the cars that brought manual performance to the masses. God bless them for it.

Subaru WRX

The WRX’s manual transmission is delightfully notchy. It may not be the smoothest operation in the world, but it is uniquely Subaru.

Toyota GR Corolla

It would have been wrong if Toyota offered the GR Corolla with just an automatic transmission. A driver’s car like this needs a manual. How else will you reign in its mighty three-cylinder motor?

Toyota GR Supra

The Subaru and Z4 share a whole lot of everything. There’s one key difference, though: the Z4 is a convertible, and that makes it better.

Toyota Tacoma

I was worried that when Toyota redesigned the Tacoma, we’d lose the manual. I’m thrilled to report that wasn’t the case.

Volkswagen Jetta GLI

With the manual GTI dead, this is the only way to get a VW performance car with a manual.
