Bucherer Fine Jewellery is paying homage to its rich heritage in fine jewelry with its new atelier.
The fine jewelry retailer is opening its newly refurbished atelier in Lucerne, which is redesigned to reflect Bucherer’s expertise, craft and unique pieces.
The more than 8,600-square-foot space is located at the brand’s headquarters in Lucerne and includes various gem labs for its designers, goldsmiths, gem-setters and polishers to create unique fine jewelry styles.
“Bucherer Fine Jewellery stands for unique creations of highest craftsmanship and expertise,” said Robert Ambord, chief jewelry officer at Bucherer Fine Jewellery. “With the renovation of our atelier, we aim to enhance the standards of our high jewelry pieces even further. The new atelier is also a token of appreciation to craft and our artisans, with them creating exceptional pieces in an inspiring environment.”
The atelier is broken up into various showrooms that reflect Bucherer’s expertise in jewelry-making. Starting next spring, the atelier will be open on an exclusive basis where clients can visit an immersive workshop space. The area is designed to be warm and inviting with design elements like Terrazzo flooring, copper-finished workshops and color-coordinated furniture.
Bucherer’s renovated Lucerne atelier comes more than a year after the retailer was acquired by Rolex. Following the sale, Bucherer embarked on its first retail partnership with Mytheresa, offering a curated selection from its three fine jewelry collections.
Bucherer also joined forces with Sotheby’s last year for the auction company to open a new luxury store inside Bucherer’s Zurich flagship.
