I’ve never related to a professional athlete more in my life than Kyle Lowry when Jared McCain decided to feature him in his post-win TikTok after the Sixers beat the Hornets on Tuesday night.
This is exactly how any 38-year-old dad would act when their young, cool coworker says they’re going to feature them in a TikTok. Lowry has the same look on his face as when my seven-year-old explained the deep lore and fiction of Skibidi Toilet to me over Thanksgiving.
Lowry is constantly in a state of flux between “what the f*** is he doing?” and “do I need to do anything?” In the end he finally decides to participate … a little, by halfheartedly dancing along without any confidence that what he is doing is correct.

This is just what happens when you’re an old and a 20-year-old is entirely too cool for you. I respect him at least trying a little.
