Taylor Swiftâs latest game day look was a nostalgic one. The music star revived an aughts era classic when she attended the Kansas City Chiefs vs. the Las Vegas Raiders on Friday, Nov. 29.
Swift paired skinny jeans with a red pullover by Louis Vuitton to take in the game. She styled her jeans by tucking them into a pair of lace-up platform ankle boots, and topped her look with an sparkling ruby and diamond necklace that read â87â â a nod to Travis Kelceâs jersey number. Swift also accessorized with a pair of glittering hoop earrings and a chain crossbody bag.

Given the current aughts revival, Swift opting to wear skinny jeans is timely. Other staples from the era including ballet flats, low-rise jeans, micro miniskirts, and butterfly tops have recirculated in recent years. On the denim front, though, wider leg jeans have been leading in popularity over the past two years. âWe moved away from the skinny and went to boot cuts, flares and flare capris,â Dianna Guerrero, the trade show manager and account executive for Judy Blue Jeans, told WWD in 2022.

Swiftâs Chiefs game ensemble is a more casual follow-up to the last one she wore: a red windowpane suit by Versace, pairing the tweed blazer and matching mini skirt with a silk corset from Victoriaâs Secret, a pair of pointed-toe knee-high boots, and Versaceâs Medusa â95 handbag. For the outing, Swift also donned David Yurman Chatelaine Heart Earrings, the David Yurman Petite PavĂŠ Pinky Ring and minimalist jewelry by RetrouvaĂ, Effy Jewelry, and Louis Vuitton.

During her appearances at NFL games, Swift has favored corsets. Last month she wore a draped corset top in tartan plaid by Vivienne Westwood when. the Kansas City Chiefs played against the New Orleans Saints. She paired the plaid top with the labelâs asymmetrical miniskirt, black knee-high platform boots, heart-shaped purse, and orb drop earrings.
