Ginori 1735 Introduces Café Ginori Hospitality at St. Regis Florence

MILAN — The only thing better than eating off a Ginori 1735 plate may be eating Ginori 1735 cuisine. Florence’s St. Regis hotel is to be the first hospitality location to house Café Ginori, a world curated around the Florence-born brand, with Ginori’s Domus home decor collection, Oriente Italiano wallpaper and more.

Ginori 1735 this week revealed its worldwide partnership with the hotel group and, following the Florence debut, Café Ginori will open at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi, at the beginning of 2025, with more global locations to follow.

Patrons will also be privy to a special journey through the “Art of Plating,” the brand’s unique approach to table setting and the rules of mise en place, alongside a menu of Italian classics with a twist, paired with Ginori’s signature collections — Oriente Italiano, Il Viaggio di Nettuno and Labirinto. Each location will offer four distinct dining experiences: breakfast, lunch, dinner and aperitivo. Patrons will also be able to shop the brand’s collections at the venue.

Café Ginori originally debuted in June at Bergdorf Goodman inside its women’s store, a flagship located on Fifth Avenue and 57th Street.

This global expansion builds on the connection between the brands, like the St. Regis Venice, where Ginori 1735 designed an exclusive takeover of the hotel’s waterfront garden terrace, in August 2023. Similar terrace concepts will come to life at The St. Regis Riyadh and The St. Regis Downtown Dubai, among others.

Café Ginori

Ginori 1735 refers to the 18th-century origins of the company, when the Marquis Carlo Andrea Ginori launched the future Manifattura di Doccia in the villa of the family estate. Formerly called Richard Ginori, for nearly 300 years its artisans have been producing luxury porcelain tableware and other elements for the home, partnering with artists and luxury brands. In recent years, for example, it has collaborated with Saint LaurentEtro and Buccellati, and artists Luke Edward Hall and Paolo Stella.

In 2025, the partnership with Ginori 1735 will expand across the Luxury Group portfolio at St. Regis parent group Marriott International.
