The cast and creative team of Netflix’s upcoming animated film “Spellbound” attended the red carpet premiere in New York City on Monday. Cast members, including Nicole Kidman and Rachel Zegler, drew inspiration from designers and runway trends for their looks, featuring ornate designs and florals.
A bevy of stars embraced the film’s whimsical story, incorporating playful color and textural elements into their attire. Ahead, see how the stars styled their looks for the red carpet event.
Nicole Kidman
Kidman put an ethereal spin on the boho trend at the “Spellbound” premiere. The Oscar-winning actress wore a long-sleeve white dress with sheer elements on the skirt, billowing sleeves and intricate floral embroidery. She was styled by Jason Bolden.
Rachel Zegler
Zegler looked to the runway for her wardrobe inspiration. The “West Side Story” breakout star wore a look courtesy of Harris Reed‘s spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection, which debuted during London Fashion Week last September.
The look consisted of a white, structural minidress with buttons running down the front placket of the look and billowing sleeves that transitioned into white gloves. The garment was adorned with three-dimensional black flowers and stems on the sleeves and skirt. Zegler completed the look with Jimmy Choo heels and Eva Fehren jewelry, curated by stylist Sarah Slutsky Tooley.
Jenifer Lewis
Jenifer Lewis wholly embraced whimsy with her look for the “Spellbound” premiere in New York City. The venerated actress wore a royal purple gown with dramatic sleeves. The shift dress featured a high neckline with a floral appliqué.
Tituss Burgess
Tituss Burgess also favored the floral look for his attire at Monday’s “Spellbound” premiere. The Emmy-nominated actor wore a suit with abstract floral designs, including splashes of bright orange contrasted against the white base fabric and black lines.
Javier Bardem
Javier Bardem opted for the monochrome trend, wearing an all-black suit for the “Spellbound” premiere. The Oscar-winning actor paired a black button down with coordinated tailored trousers and black shoes for the occasion.
“Spellbound” follows Ellian, played by Zegler, a princess who must find the courage within herself to set things right after a mysterious spell transforms her parents into ferocious monsters. The animated film debuts on Netflix Nov. 22.
