Jodie Comer meant business on the red carpet of the SCAD Savannah Film Festival on Saturday. The Emmy Award-winning “Killing Eve” alum and Noble Panacea global ambassador styled a look that favored the boxy blazer trend popular with other stars on the red carpet this year.
For the occasion, Comer wore an oversized, double-breasted blazer in charcoal gray with a Prada jumpsuit. The boxy blazer featured sharp shoulders and sleeves rolled up to her elbows.
The blazer featured four prominent buttons and two front pockets. Beneath it, Comer wore her Prada jumpsuit with a plunging neckline and backless design. She completed her look with pointed-toe heels adorned with a gold button accent.
For her glam, Comer’s blond hair was styled in soft, natural waves by DJ Quintero. Her makeup, by artist Hung Vanngo, featured bold brows, a hint of a smoky eye and a rosy lip. “The Bikeriders” star’s look was curated by stylist Elizabeth Saltzman, who has worked with Elizabeth Debicki and recently styled Eiza González for the LACMA Art + Film Gala on Saturday.
Comer is the latest star to favor the oversized, boxy blazer trend. Kate Winslet recently incorporated the style into her wardrobe while on the promotional tour for her film “Lee.” The Oscar-winning actress wore a white blazer with rounded shoulders and soft lapels.
Boxy and oversize blazer offer a fresh spin on power suiting. The addition adds contrast for form-fitting looks and elevates designer threads — like Comer’s Prada jumpsuit at her most recent red carpet event.
The SCAD Savannah Film Festival kicked off on Oct. 26 and concluded on Nov. 2. Films like “Blitz,” “His Three Daughters” and “The Piano Lesson” all featured screenings at the festival. Pamela Anderson, Demi Moore and Felicity Jones attended the event, among others.
