How’s everyone feeling about the election tomorrow? I saw an Instagram post that said “nauseously optimistic,” which pretty much sums up our household right now.
This weekend, however, all sprints were lifted by the NYC Marathon, which always feels like the most glorious day in the city.
Everyone comes together…
…people are hilarious…
..and beyond strong.
The vibes are GOOD.
I loved this duo — her shirt says “Erica,” his shirt says “Go Erica,” and he’s holding a sign of her face, maybe after a run? Before a run? When signing up for the marathon? Love whatever is happening.
My friend Liz ran for Fred’s Team to raise money for cancer research, in memory of her dear friend Zophie.
How cool is the sign her children made of her huge smile?
What a beautiful, inspiring day. There are good people in the world; as Fred Rogers says, look for the helpers. Fingers so tightly crossed for tomorrow. xoxoxoxo
P.S. Wise words, and what glimmers are you noticing these days? Plus, “how stage four cancer taught me how to live.”
