Three reliable golf fashion items to stay on trend this fall

Summer is finally over, which hopefully means cooler weather at the golf course. It also means the various golf fashion brands have launched their Fall collections.

Last week, seeing the Presidents Cup team wives and their super cute outfits inspired me to find some items perfect for this cooler weather.

What trends will be around this season? One of the best things about golf fashion is that people can wear it year-round; however, there are still some things to avoid.

After browsing countless fall collections, I found the three things to purchase and have for the Fall. These could vary depending on where you live, but I tried to find things that would work in most places.

Another thing to note is these are unisexual options, meaning regardless of whether it is in the male or female section, either can wear it and look good.

Remember, fashion is subjective. Not everyone will like these pieces of clothing, and that is okay. It is all about finding your true style, and I am here to offer some suggestions.

Now, I want to show you the three things I think will be the most reliable pieces of clothing to have in your closet this fall.

3. Bold Pants

This fall, color is still an option!

Sure, people can wear neutrals, but why not throw in a pop of color? Green and burgundy are two colors I have noticed trending upward as fall approaches. Cream is another way to do a neutral but elevate it.

Purples are in, too.

They may look springy, but it all depends on how you style them, and he looked great, letting the pants be the moment.

For my more out-of-the-box people, the checkered pattern in the above photo is something you can pull from. Pairing it with a solid top is a perfect way to stay on trend. That checkered pattern is everywhere right now, so ladies, get some!

2. Layers to have (Vests, Jackets, etc.)

Next on the list are layers, things you can pair to ensure you stay warm on the course or at whatever FedEx Cup Fall event you attend. A puffy vest under your mock turtle neck or a long-sleeve shirt will go nicely together.

Weather-proof jackets easily fit over vests to prevent wetness and are usually warm. A nice three-quarter-zip pullover or sweater is another excellent way to layer this fall.

Remember your colors — green, purple, cream and navy — all are perfect for this time of year.

1. Iconic Headwear — High Crown Visors & Beanies

Lastly, there are two hats to wear this fall — a good beanie and a high-crowned visor.

Many think a high-crowned visor would be better for the warmer seasons, but not necessarily. Some places are warm enough to use them year-round. They have this vintage feel and look good on men and women. A visor still works even in the colder areas because players can wear ear muffs over it.

A beanie is a staple during the chiller months. However, my favorite is the more vintage ones with the pom-pom on top. Other ones on the market are just as cool with old-school logos. Regardless, it will keep your head warm, but you will still look good.

There you have it, three items that are must-haves this fall season. Which one will you purchase? Sound off below in the comments.
