Brooks Nader Celebrates ‘DWTS’ Cast Reveal in Saint Laurent on ‘GMA’

Brooks Nader opted for aviator-inspired attire for her appearance on “Good Morning America” in New York on Wednesday. The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover girl celebrated her casting on Season 33 of ABC‘s “Dancing With the Stars.”

For the occasion, Nader selected a Saint Laurent ensemble consisting of a khaki slit midi skirt, white tank top and leather bomber jacket. The swimsuit model added on copper Dune slingbacks, gold statement earrings and matching chunky bangles. A pair of rectangular shades completed her look.

Nader wore her highlighted brunette tresses in a messy updo, while her makeup consisted of soft pink blush and a matching lip.

Speaking to hosts Lara Spencer and Michael Strahan, Nader compared making the cover of Sports Illustrated with getting the offer to appear on “DWTS.”

“I feel like with the cover, I was obviously thrilled, but it was a done deal, so I was very excited. With [‘DWTS’] it was unexpected. I didn’t expect to get the call and then I was like, ‘Oh my God, this is amazing,’” she said.

Nader added that although she only has “a little bit of dance experience,” she’s excited to compete for the Mirrorball Trophy alongside partner Gleb Savchenko.

The cast of season 33 of “DWTS” includes former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Phaedra Parks, Tori Spelling and Olympic rugby player Ilona Maher.

Last month, WWD exclusively revealed that Nader is collaborating with Hudson Jeans on her first apparel collection, out in March.

“I got a little denim boot camp over at the Centric Brands’ office in L.A., and it was so fascinating,” she said, referring to the company that owns and operates Hudson.

Nader also elaborated on her personal connection to the brand, which she frequently wore in her youth.

“We grew up riding horses, country, little Southern girls, and we always, always, always had to have a pair of Hudson jeans.…It was the thing you had to wear, because it made your butt look so freaking good. If you weren’t wearing those in high school, no one was looking at your butt,” she said.

The model’s Hudson capsule comprises 17 pieces, including trendy straight-leg and low-rise denim silhouettes. It also features closet staples like white T-shirts and leather jackets. Nader was particularly inspired by the “off-duty” styles of ’90s supermodels: her mood board was plastered with vintage photos of Kate Moss, Linda Evangelista, Cindy Crawford and Christy Turlington.

“I am a micromanager of sorts and a perfectionist,” Nader added. “And there was the option to do things virtually, or ship samples or fabrics back and forth to New York and L.A., but I was in L.A. a lot. I wanted to feel every single fabric. I wanted to try on every prototype….I really wanted it to be perfect, and everyone to feel sexy in it.”
