Sabrina Carpenter brought her signature sparkling style to the set of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Thursday. The “Espresso” singer and Scent Beauty collaborator was on-hand to promote her latest album, “Short n’ Sweet.” The late-night talk show also hosted actress and filmmaker Zoë Kravtiz, who discussed her film “Blink Twice.”
For her interview look, Carpenter took runway inspiration from Gucci’s fall 2024 ready-to-wear collection. The singer wore an icy blue set with allover glittering embellishments that included a button-down, sweater top and short-shorts.
A few buttons on the front placket were undone in Carpenter’s styling of the look, which made its runway debut during Milan Fashion Week last February. She paired the sartorial ensemble with exaggerated platform peep-toe heels with an ankle strap.
Her voluminous blond hair was styled with soft waves and her makeup featured a bold eye and soft lip. She accessorized with Anita Ko jewelry.
Carpenter elevated her look during her performance, singing a stripped down variation on her single “Please Please Please.” For the performance, Carpenter channeled Old Hollywood glamour, opting for an allover black sequin halter gown with a plunging neckline.
Along with Carpenter, Zoë Kravitz made an appearance and sat down with Fallon for an interview to discuss her directorial debut “Blink Twice.” For her segment on the late-night talk show, Kravitz opted for a lacy look with slipdress inspiration.
The actress and filmmaker wore a black camisole with delicate lace trim at the neckline. She paired the sleeveless top with light mocha-hued skirt, which also featured a lace trim at the hemline.
Both Carpenter’s and Kravitz’s individual approaches to fashion were on full display during their time on Fallon. Carpenter consistently demonstrates a proclivity for Old Hollywood, taking inspiration from fun, flirty, pin-up style pieces as well as other famous, classic stars like Brigitte Bardot.
Kravitz, a longtime supporter of creative director Anthony Vaccarello‘s designs for Saint Laurent, has worn silky, sensual pieces from the fashion house as well as pieces courtesy of The Row during her press tour for “Blink Twice.” Seeing the juxtaposition between Carpenter’s and Kravitz’s styles highlighted how the two women approach contemporary trends and make fashion their own.
