If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, WWD may receive an affiliate commission.

As cliche as it sounds, spring is right around the corner (we see you, 7 P.M. sunsets!), and this makes for the perfect time to score some fresh finds from everyone’s favorite retailer Nordstrom. Its site always has no shortage of on-trend, celebrity-approved new arrivals, but, for this spring 2025 season, the “New Brands” category seems to practically overflow with fashion must-haves.

From laid-back, bohemian-skewing spring dresses and blouses, courtesy of Dôen, that will channel major Euro-chic vibes (even if you have no upcoming travel plans) to fashion and footwear from Cult Gaia that could easily appear on your favorite “The White Lotus” character, there’s truly something for everyone at Nordstrom this spring. All kinds of budgets, too, are respected, and some top items are even seeing markdowns that are making them a steal and a half.

Shopping at Nordstrom is never a bad idea, because the retailer truly makes it the most pleasant experience via perks and exclusive sale access. Joining the Nordy Club, for example, allows you to rack up points with every purchase, enjoy access to members-only discount events, and take advantage of free, two-day shipping to select areas. This insider’s club is absolutely free, by the way, but you can also elevate your status by signing up for a Nordstrom credit or debit card (which promises further bells and whistles). More importantly, Nordstrom stages one of the biggest shopping happenings of the year, what with its summertime Anniversary Sale during which the hottest picks across beauty and fashion see hype-worthy discounts.

But because it’s not summer quite yet, we’re fully embracing the warming, start-of-spring temperatures by highlighting six editor-loved brands that just joined the Nordstrom lineup and will please even the pickiest of fashionistas. Here, we’ll give you the full rundown on the brands in question and emphasize what exact pieces you should shop before they’re gone for good.

You (and your wardrobe) deserve this refresh, and Nordstrom will deliver in spades.

Dôen

Last summer, Dôen — a founded-in-2016, women-run brand — absolutely exploded in popularity after both Brie Larson and Alexandra Daddario were spotted in its Rosaria Polka Dot Maxi Dress (now sold out, obviously) at an Italian press conference. Even before that, though, every time a celebrity was be seen in a Dôen piece, whether it be Kaia Gerber donning the intricately detailed Greta Top or Elle Fanning displaying some summery street style in the Sebastiane Skirt paired with a striped bodysuit, it would generate no small amount of buzz that was usually followed by a depletion in inventory.

Dôen, as it turns out, expressly seeks out to honor womanhood through its clothing collections, creating offerings with the female gaze in mind. Though the company makes outerwear, knitwear, denim, lingerie, and even bags at this point, it’s Dôen’s dresses and blouses that originally captured the collective imagination and put the brand in the public eye.

For those seeking to master the boho-revival trend spotted on recent runways — all about whimsical vibes curated by looser silhouettes and, yes, florals — Dôen couldn’t be a better company to shop from. Its pricing on Nordstrom makes it accessible while still reflecting the high-quality nature of each and every item. There, you’ll see Dôen’s cottagecore-inspired cotton dresses, whitewashed peasant tops, and even soft-as-a-cloud cardigans for those days when a breeze lingers in the air and calls for a transitional dressing moment. Shop away knowing that whatever Dôen bestseller you’ll end up getting for yourself will make you look like a fairy in the best of ways.

Dôen Henri Organic Cotton Voile Top

Though this boho-chic top is also offered in a soft white hue or a blue floral print, the pictured black version grants it the mystique and classic versatility we recommend you showcase more of this spring. Just imagine how it would look with a pair of wear-everywhere denim jeans and your favorite gold jewelry selections. Not convinced yet to snag the gem? Taylor Swift was spotted in a Henri Top from Dôen circa 2023, so it’s safe to say those ruffles have major, celebrity-backed appeal. After Swift donned it, the top sold out in a flash, so getting it while it’s back in stock is a very smart, very sensible decision.

Dôen Romina Floral Organic Cotton Maxi Dress

A floral dress acts as a truly timeless investment piece in any wardrobe but especially one that is getting dolled up and upgraded for warmer weather. This romantic number takes design direction from a field of blooming cornflowers and is a pitch-perfect match for ballet flats, a treasured pair of kitten heels, or even sturdy and dependable white sneakers — looking flawless in each and every context.

Derek Lam 10 Crosby

Derek Lam 10 Crosby was launched by fashion designer Derek Lam in 2011, acting as a more affordable offshoot of his original namesake label. For the NYC-based brand, which held its first-ever NYFW presentation this year, urban sophistication is the name of the game — not to mention a refined femininity and practical luxury. What do these buzzwords translate to in practice? Dresses with modern profiles, bottoms that tie into today’s trends (from the straight-legged to the cuffed), darling tops that don’t shy away from a little color, and so much more.

A-listers are on board will all that. Emily Blunt once sported Derek Lam 10 Crosby’s camel-colored jacket that fit into the whole “office siren” fascination of today, none other than Kate Middleton looked refined as can be in a leopard-print midi dress from the brand, and even Taylor Swift was spotted in one of its striped, button-down shirtdresses.

The Duchess met clinical supervisors, volunteers and fundraisers to thank them for their invaluable efforts to ensure that vital mental health support is available across the UK at any time of day or night.

While none of the mentioned pieces are in stock anymore, you can and should shop the ones currently available at Nordstrom — from color-blocked dresses perfect for a destination wedding to tweed vests for some corp-core fun.

Derek Lam 10 Crosby Asuka Fringe Detail Cotton Blend Tweed Crop Jacket

Especially in early spring, temperatures tend to shift throughout the day in quite unpredictable ways, but this pretty little thing will make sure you stay warm and look endlessly stylish in equal measure. The “French girl chic” trend couldn’t be hotter right now, and it’s an accurate description for Derek Lam 10 Crosby’s cropped tweed jacket. Pair it with a white t-shirt and jeans or else invest in a skirt with a similar materiality for some matchy-matchy glam.

Derek Lam 10 Crosby Twain Strip Cotton and Cashmere Shrug & Sweater Set

The nautical stripes of this ensemble feed into the fisherman aesthetic you’ve been seeing everywhere (and which was included in the Pinterest Predicts trend report for 2025!), but what really makes it a standout option is the fact that it’s a two-in-one, pre-styled purchase. Wear the included sweater as pictured — over the shoulders and tied at the front, how Parisian of you — or fully over the body during days when it seems like winter is still lingering in your peripheral vision.

Cult Gaia

Seeing as how “cult” is at the very heart of this brand’s name, it’s really no wonder that the selections it offers are nothing short of cult classics. Launched in 2012 out of Los Angeles, Cult Gaia seeks to create true heirloom pieces that double as objet d’arts, and though it started off selling accessories (believe it or not, flower crowns were the first product category), the company is now known and loved for its ready-to-wear collections that include dressy gowns in stunning colors, Insta-worthy bikini sets, and shoulder bags that are structural marvels.

Celebrity fans include Kelly Rowland, who’s not only worn Cult Gaia’s Prescott Knit Top, earrings, and Lisse Clutch in conjunction with an ivory-hued fedora recently but also showed off the brand’s Delvina Clutch at this year’s Vanity Fair Oscars Party — the item being worthy of a shelf at The Met. Blackpink’s Lisa stepped out in a red cutout dress from Cult Gaia, too, and Alix Earle flaunted the Bowie Knit Dress in all of its hand-crocheted glory last year while on a warm-weather vacay. All of this proves the bestsellers’ versatility when it comes to looking eye-catching on any occasion.

Cult Gaia’s offerings are front and center at Nordstrom this season. Maybe you’re in the mood to grab some woven mules that can be worn to the beach and dinner both or else are eyeing a crisp maxi skirt that honors the Pantone Color of the Year for 2025. No matter your inclinations or tastes, the Cult Gaia finds we’re spotlighting below — as well as the ones you’ll find on your own time while browsing the retailer — will make you the most fashion-forward person in the friend group.

Cult Gaia Meerah Top Handle Shoulder Bag

If Coach’s Brooklyn Bag ranking as one of the hottest product on Lyst Index’s 2024 report for Q4 is any indication, slouchy bag silhouettes are in right now. This one, made from supple leather with breathtaking gold hardware, will work overtime to ensure you can carry all your daily essentials in the most comfortable way possible. Every design detail looks to be meticulously thought through here,  right down to the twists in the shoulder strap. The Meerah Bag is proof that when Cult Gaia arranges a meet-cute between functionality and attractiveness, sparks fly.

Cult Gaia Gracie Sandal

She is beauty, she is grace, she is Cult Gaia’s Gracie Sandal. If you’ve been holding out on joining the whole goddess trend that’s been taking the Internet by storm, this shoe gives an excuse to do so. Its heel is made of chunky, less-than-opaque beads that take the sandal to sexier heights, and those clear straps are another much-appreciated touch. PS: Pair with a draped dress in a dark color (we’re thinking aubergine) for an utterly head-turning getup.

Solid & Striped

Where swimwear and resortwear is concerned, Solid & Striped is a winner on all fronts. Founded in 2012, the brand dives into beachy must-haves that radiate a kind of clean, cool, and classic aesthetic. Last year, it tapped Sofia Richie Grange to co-design the spring 2024 ready-to-wear collection, which also heralded Solid & Striped’s expansion into activewear, accessories, and lifestyle essentials at large.

Though the brand’s signatures and new releases live rent-free in everyone’s head, they can especially be spotted on stars like Nina Dobrev (who once wore a Solid & Striped ribbed one-piece that contrasted supremely well with the crystal-clear water in the background of her Instagram photo), Katy Perry (who took St. Tropez by storm in the Daphne Bikini Top and Bottom), and Emma Roberts (looking pretty as a peach in a belted one-piece).

Solid & Striped’s new era of moving beyond swimwear while still keeping those origins in the brand DNA is readily apparent in its current Nordstrom roster. Here, you’ll find everything from mini dresses to wide-leg pants to light sweaters. The vibes are still as feminine and luxe as ever, so it’s not that extreme of a departure.

Solid & Striped The Soglio Long Sleeve Maxi Dress

Have too many wedding invites to count? Wear this classic dress to all the celebrations. It’s restrained in an elegant way, provides full coverage, and, by proxy of those characteristics, allows for some play in the form of statement jewelry (we suggest a gleaming gold cuff or chunky earrings!). To emphasize the upper-body contouring delivered by that funnel-neck bodice, style your hair in a slicked-back bun, and thank us later.

Solid & Striped Annemarie Rib One-Piece Swimsuit

Attention, attention: This is the very same swimsuit Nina Dobrev wore in her aforementioned Instagram post. Though it’s sold out on the Solid & Striped site, Nordstrom offers the one-piece in either Blackout or the lighter Marshmallow. Rich texture and a contrasting white trim manage to overhaul the classic form while still appearing demure. It’s one of those styles that you can pair with a black sarong skirt for beach-to-bar attire, but it can also look just as darling with a pair of cut-off denim shorts and a sun hat.

Silk Laundry

Silk Laundry was launched in Australia in 2015 with sustainability and conscious living at its heart. Meant to complement and propel a worldly wardrobe, it debuted with a silk slip dress collection but then evolved to offer clothing of all kinds, as well as belts, scarves, and bird-inspired jewelry. Its devotees include Gwyneth Paltrow, Emily Ratajkowski (who seems to be especially fond of Silk Laundry’s Long Bias Cut Skirt, having sported it many, many times), and even Jake Gyllenhaal (who put the Twill Boyfriend Shirt on display during an SNL monologue).

At Nordstrom, expect to discover pieces from the brand that will become your newest outfit staples — swathed, as they are, in solid colors that bypass boredom and instead exude timelessness. The biggest perk of these clothing items is that they’re made of silk, of course, which will infuse your spring style with just the upscale softness you were craving. And though the price points cannot be called affordable, every penny is worth it to have Silk Laundry in your own closet.

Silk Laundry Relaxed Blazer

The rich, pine-inspired colorway of this lightweight blazer is enough to make us smash that add-to-cart button, but it’s really the item’s loose, unlined, and fluid nature that inspires swooning. This is the kind of blazer that can elevate every last outfit: from the little black dress you always have at the ready for when cocktail hour calls to the ’90s-style indigo jeans that have been your closet mainstays for forever. The best part? Some formal blazers tend to hang heavy, but this baby is lightweight as can be.

Silk Laundry Deco Rouleau Dress

This 100-percent silk masterpiece can be styled from day to night and all over again, by virtue of the fact that slip dresses will never not be en vouge. It features an oh-so-flattering V-neckline and will look especially dainty in collaboration with a softer-than-soft cardigan or cropped leather moto jacket for that extra ounce of retro edginess.

Jessica Rich

If you keep up with celebrity style alerts, you know about Jessica Rich — a brand that catapulted to fame in 2018 when it rolled out its by-now-signature transparent stilettos. In 2022, designer Jessica Rich took home Footwear News Achievement Awards’ Emerging Talent trophy, and her It-girl heels have over the years landed on the feet of Jennifer Lopez, Heidi Klum, the Kardashians, and more stylish celebrities.

Jessica Rich’s shoe styles are confidence-boosting and trendy, while also providing timeless appeal to wear season after season. From candy-colored platforms to snakeskin stunners, Nordstrom’s top footwear styles from Jessica Rich just might become your best investments of 2025.

Jessica Rich Coco Mule

In the world of spring 2025 accessories, snakeskin presents itself as a major trend, and these fanciful sandals feature just the right amount of the exotic pattern. The mule’s pointed open toe design, too, will look supremely attractive when peeking out from your wide-leg trousers or pleated maxi skirt. Regardless of the pairing, Jessica Rich’s Coco Mules will pay dividends by elevating all your OOTDs with texture and visual interest.

Jessica Rich Bella Stiletto

Harking back to Jessica Rich’s hero collection — Transparent — these see-through beauts with wrap-up ankle straps are in a league of their own, saying a lot without ever appearing too flashy. In fact, they’re perfect for emanating subtle sophistication during a hot date in the city or for when you want your spring gala gown to be the star of the show.
