5 Street Style Moments in Brooklyn

We live near a popular café, and the perk is that every morning I get to stroll by the chicest people. Above is Ameerah, whom I met today. She’s a distance runner, and how cute is her denim-on-denim?

Rebecca actually stopped me in the street, since she’s a long-time Cup of Jo reader, but then I had to snap a photo. Loved her loafers with the bow — she told me they’re G.H. Bass Lillian Bow Weejuns (mouthful!), and you can find pairs on eBay.

I also loved the vibe of a HUGE black bag, which I’m pretty sure is this one?

Playful sweaters are always fun. My friend Liz wears this amazing dachshund one, which is also on Poshmark.

Finally, myself (lolll) but I wanted to say, I really like wearing a mac coat in the spring, versus a trench. Macs are simple, single breasted, no belt, no back vent, no bells and whistles. They look great — light, not heavy — with skirts, dresses, shorts, cropped jeans. Mine is an old Reformation Danni coat, but there are cute ones all over the place (exhibit A, B).

P.S. Erika’s week of outfits, and nine women on going gray.
