49ers-Falcons DFS picks: Best plays for Week 7 Sunday Night Football

The 4-2 San Francisco 49ers host the 3-2 Atlanta Falcons on Sunday Night Football as 1.5-point favorites in a game that looks pretty even overall. Brock Purdy is out again, which pushes Mac Jones into the starting lineup again. While George Kittle returns from I.R. and is very much needed with injuries continuing to hurt the 49ers offense.

Below we will take a look at the best DFS plays for this Sunday night showdown.

Questionable offensive players

Darnell Mooney, WR, Falcons

Mooney got in two limited practices to start the week and then was downgraded to not practicing on Friday. He ended up listed as questionable, but head coach Raheem Morris did say he felt good about his chance to play. His absence has been great for Drake London’s fantasy numbers, so if he does sit again, London becomes a great play, even with his high cost. Mooney’s price tag is pretty high still, but if he does play, he makes for a useful tournament play.

George Kittle, TE, 49ers (FLEX $7,800, CPT $11,700)

All signs are pointing up for Kittle as he comes off I.R. after his Week 1 hamstring injury. It appears the team has given him extra time to make sure a re-injury isn’t as likely and he appears set for a full complement of snaps. Add in that Ricky Pearsall is out and Jauan Jenning is playing with multiple ailments, and I love Kittle this week, even in a tough matchup.

Bijan Robinson, POS, TEAM (FLEX $13,400, CPT $20,100)

It really is tough to get away from Bijan. I don’t know how you can fade him and feel good about your chances in any single game slate. Fading him for me is to push him down to flex, which might have to happen if you can’t fit his price tag into the captain’s slot. His usage on the ground and through the air keeps him viable in all game scripts, and he has been much more explosive than Christian McCaffrey this year. McCaffrey is of course high on the list of captains to play in this game, but he’s got more upside on DraftKings than FanDuel due to the .5 PPR scoring on FD.

Casey Washington, WR, Falcons (FLEX $3,400, CPT $5,100)

We’re going to need some salary relief to play Robinson and/or McCaffrey and Drake London along with QBs, so we might need to get a little weird here. Casey Washington is getting a ton of playing time, but his targets are few, far between, and of the deeper variety. I’d only play him in bigger tournaments, but if he hits, he likely hits fairly big for his price.

Demarcus Robinson, POS, TEAM (FLEX $4,400, CPT $6,600)

With Marquez Valdes-Scantling out, Demarcus Robinson should be in line for more consistent snaps than he has been. Last week he made two big receptions and is someone who is a little safer than Washington as a cheap play.

Jauan Jennings, POS, TEAM (FLEX $6,000, CPT $9,000)

He’s not 100% by any stretch of the imagination, but he is much cheaper to roster on FanDuel than DraftKings and we’ve seen him have success when playing through injuries in the past.
